dition with minor splitting, ABNC. This company was incorporated
in 1881 by property owners on the Cambridge side of the Charles
River. In 1887 they persuaded the Legislature to build a bridge over
the river between Boston and Cambridge and was named in honor
of John Harvard and still stands to this day. ..............

1853. $1000 I/C Bond. #150. Black print with ornate border with alle-
gorical reclined woman top center and allegorical women in left
margin. Fine condition with some staining, creasing and POC in sig-
nature. Original signature of Sterling Price, a Confederate General
who was also the first Governor of Missouri. His time as a General
during the Civil War was largely a failure. ..................
