Shandong province, with no date (pre 1949). The Serial number is 00718.
Front depicts oriental garden and castle. The text on the sides reads “10
jiao could be exchanged to a silver dollar”. The text on the bottom is the
address of the bank, and the seals are from the manager. The back also
has a bank seal, and text of “take careful look”. XF with light water stain.

China, temporary exchanging banknote issued by the Hengtaixing
Bank in Zangjiazhuang Village, Qixia County, Shandong province in
1935. Serial number is 0801. Text on the left side is the year, and text
on the bottom says “every 10 jiao could be exchanged into 1 yuan of
national currency; no exchange for loose changes”. The back side depicts
an oriental garden, with texts of “non-tangible note” and “no payment at

China, issued by Shuangdeheng Bank in
Lingshan Town, Quyang County, Hebei Province. Date, seals and serial
number are left blank. The center shows denomination One Jiao with
images of crane, pine tree, deer and bamboo on both sides. Text on sides
read “to maintain the finance and currency circulation”, and the bottom
text reads “every 10 jiao could be exchanged to 1 silver dollar”. Back
shows a castle gate, the denomination, “be careful of counterfeit” in
Chinese, and “take care” in English. XF grade with light oil stains. Est.

China, ND (ca.1920-30’s), coupon issued by Shiweiji
clock shop in Shanghai, with a valu of 2 jiao (20 cents) and no date.
The center shows the logo of the shop, which is a winged bell. Text on
the sides reads “customers with a purchase exceeding 2 yuan could use
one coupon of this kind”. The bottom is the address of the shop “426
E Nanjing Rd”. Back shows regulations and rules of using this coupon.

by Hengshengyou Bank in Pingxi Town, Shouning County, Fujian
province in 1934. The center shows a scene of a city with buildings
and buses, possibly an image of Shanghai. The serial number is 001771.
Denomination is shown in multiple places. Complicated patterns could
be seen on the back, including 3 images of the 1 jiao silver coin issued by
the central government. Uncirculated to CU condition, Two purple seals
of the bank are chopped in the center of the back side.���������������Est.

China, ND ca.1930’s, banknote issued by Chunxiutang Bank in Fucheng
Town, Tang County, Hebei province. No date, seal or serial number,
could be a specimen. The front depicts oriental buildings (which is the
same as the Deyuanhao 1 yuan note). Top banner shows the bank name
and address, and the bottom text is “every 10 jiao could be exchanged
into a silver dollar”. The back depicts a view of the countryside with a
bridge. Text on top is “be careful of counterfeits”, and the bottom is the
printer, Tianjin North Road Huadong Lithography printing company.
