lot of 3 banknotes issued by the Shoukuang Yumin Bank in Shandong
province in the 1940s. The 50 cents (5 jiao) note has a date of 1941. The
20 yuan note has a date of 1943, with an image of a train on the back
side. The 25 yuan note has a date of 1945, with an image of a ship on
the back side. Back sides also show denominations and bank name in
English, as well as signatures of the managers.����������������������������Est.

China, lot of 3 banknotes issued by the Shoukuang Yumin Bank in
Shandong province in 1944. The 50 yuan note shows a pavilion in the
front side, with a block character “Min” and serial number 565385. Back
side has text saying “second printing batch”. The 100 yuan note shows a
memorial arch on the front side, with a block character “Yu” and serial
number 214477. Back side shows mountain and building. The 200 yuan
note shows a pavilion on the front, and has a block character “Hang”
and serial number 227182. VF to AU. The back side shows a memorial
arch. Seals are from the managers. Texts on the side read “For all debts
private and public”. Back sides also show denominations and bank name
in English, as well as signatures of the managers.������������������������Est.

Shandong province in 1944. The 50 yuan note shows a ship and a car in
the front side, with a block character “Min” and serial number 015158.
The 100 yuan note shows a memorial arch and the temple of heaven,
with a block character “Shou” and serial number 001137. Back side
shows oriental style garden and building. The 500 yuan note has a block
character “Shou” and serial number 361243. Back side shows a ship and
“second printing batch”. Seals are from the managers. Texts on the side
read “For all debts private and public”. VF to XF. Back sides also show
denominations and bank name in English, as well as signatures of the

temporary exchanging banknote of 1 string of copper cash coin issued
by Minsheng Coal Mining company in 1931, with Arabic serial number
of 01147, and a Chinese serial number of block “Ze” number 48 on
the right side. The front images are oriental gardens. Text on the left
shows the date. The banner on top of the back side shows the usage was
limited to its own mines and factories. Text in the center of the back side
is regulations, and the text in the lower banner is “take careful look”. The
printer name is shown at the very bottom, possibly fromHankou. VF-XF

China, local banknote issued by
the North Shandong (Lubei) Province Administrative Office in 1941,
with a serial number of 0423256. The front shows oriental gardens and
buildings, with texts of “to pay the bearer national currency of 1 yuan”,
the date , and the printer North Shandong Province Administrative Office
Printing Bureau. The seals are of the Chair and Deputy Chair. Back
shows text of “guaranteed by the Shandong Province Government”,
oriental buildings, and signatures of the Chairs. VG to Fine with

China, banknote issued by Jidetang Bank in Panggezhuang village,
Nanxiang town, Pingdu County, Shandong province in 1938. The front
depicts the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. No serial number. Text on
top is the bank name, and text on the bottom is “every 10 jiao could
be exchanged to a silver dollar”. Seals are of the bank and the manager.
The back shows a city view possibly of Shanghai. Texts are “take careful
look”, “loose change could not be exchanged” and “no payment at
night”. VF-XF grade.�����������������������������������������������������������������������Est.
