樂陵縣同興號錢莊票一吊

China, banknote issued by Tongxinghao

Bank in Laoling County, Shandong province. No serial number and date,

could be a specimen or remainder. The text in the center of the front

side reads “To pay the bearer a string of copper cash coin at a conversion

rate of 93%”. Top text is the bank name and address, and the text on

the bottom shows the printer “Shandong Laoling Xingwen lithography

printing company”. The back depicts a memorial arch and a vase. Texts

inside the frame are “take careful look” “not responsible for lost notes”

and “exchanging rate follows the market price”. The two liners in the

frame are of the meaning of currency circulation. AU grade.�������� Est.

昌黎義聚公銀號五吊、十吊錢票各一張

China, lot of 2 banknotes issued by the Yijugong Bank in Changli County,

Hebei province, with no date or serial number printed. Denominations

are shown in the center of the front side, with a special notice of “payed

by Yiqingde Bank in Changli County”. Images of vases and ancient coins

are shown around the 10 strings note, and images of people living and

working ar shown around the 5 strings note. Small texts in the frame are

famous articles and quotes in Chinese. The back side of the 10 strings

note shows images of a building and a train, the denomination, as well as

a notice of “no loss reporting”. The back side of the 5 strings note shows

images of a factory, a pavilion, and a ship. UNC grade. �����������������Est.

China, lot of 2 banknotes issued by the Ruijuchang Bank in Jimo County,

Shandong province, with no date or serial number. Denominations are

shown in the center of the front side, with images of mountains and

people around. Red portraits of the god of wealth are shown at the left

sides. The back sides show denominations, as well as notices about the

color for different values on the top. The 4 string note has missing top

part; the 5 string note is UNC grade.����������������������������������������������� Est.

牟平雙合永錢莊票三百文、五百文一組1928

China, lot of 2 banknotes issued by Shuangheyong Bank in Muping

County, Shandong province in 1928. No serial numbers. The top note

has a denomination of 500 cash, and the bottom is 300 cash. The red

texts on top are the address of the bank. The bottom red texts are the

printer Yantai Donglu Printing. Blue texts in a box at the bottom are “no

payment at night”. Back side depicts oriental building and trees. Text on

top is “non-tangible note”, and text on bottom is also “no payment at

night”. AU-UNC grade.�������������������������������������������������������������������Est.
