This note has the vertical Chinese characters on face below portrait with
each letter surrounded by white area. Uniface front and back specimen
banknotes in brown-orange. SYS in center top on face and bank building
on back. Red Chinese specimen overprint, “00000” serial numbers and
POC on face and “Specimen” overprint on back. Top of note has “8-
17-48” and “L-302-F” for the face and “L-302-B” for the back”. The face
is PMG graded Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ, but appears Gem Unc.,
the back grades Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ. SBNC. Rare essay

P-Unlisted, S/M#C301-86, One of 2 different varieties. This note has
the vertical Chinese characters on face below portrait separated from
each letter unlike the other note being offered in the following lot where
they are all connected. Uniface front specimen banknote in brown-
orange. SYS in center top on face. Red Chinese specimen overprint,
“00000” serial numbers and POC on face. Top of note has “8-19-48”
and “L-302-F”. Vertical note. PMG graded Superb Gem Uncirculated 67
EPQ. Rare and very high grade essay banknote that is missing frommost
advanced collections and is possibly one of the finest examples known.
