陽靈山雙德亨錢莊票一角 China, issued by Shuangdeheng Bank in
Lingshan Town, Quyang County, Hebei Province. Date, seals and serial
number are left blank. The center shows denomination One Jiao with
images of crane, pine tree, deer and bamboo on both sides. Text on sides
read “to maintain the finance and currency circulation”, and the bottom
text reads “every 10 jiao could be exchanged to 1 silver dollar”. Back
shows a castle gate, the denomination, “be careful of counterfeit” in
Chinese, and “take care” in English. XF grade with light oil stains. Est. $45-70

邑福德祥一角 Shandong Province, China. A private banknote issued by
the Fudexiang Bank in Jiuyuanfu, Changyi County, Shandong province.
The face depicts a city scene, with a serial number of 0744. The back
shows a city gate, as well as texts of “no payment at night” and “every
10 jiao could be exchanged into 1 yuan national currency”. No date. XF
grade. 山東昌邑縣久遠埠福德祥錢莊一角。正面中央為城市景
色，流水號為0744. 背面有城樓圖，及“燈下不付”“每拾角兌
國幣壹圓”文字。無年份。八五品。 ��������������������������������������Est. $85-150

山東茌平和興號
1942年三元 Shandong Province, China. A private banknote with
a rare denomination of 3 yuan, issued by the Hexinghao Bank in
Xiaowuzhuang, Chiping County, Shandong province in 1942. The face
depicts a sailing boat in the center, with bank name, manager seals,
address and serial number of 012558 around it. Issuing date is shown at
the bottom in Chinese saying 1942. The back side shows denomination
and a date of 1941 (different from the face side), while other writings
are not readable. VF grade. 山東茌平縣小吳莊和興號於1941年發
行之少見面額三元紙幣。正面主景為海中帆船，四周印有經理
印章、錢莊地址、流水號及“中華民國三十一年印”。背面有

Bank in Shiwuzhuang, Feicheng County, Shandong Province. Date
unknown but should be circa 1930-1940. Top text reads “New printing
plate against counterfeits”. Text on the back is a prescription written in
1963. 山東肥城石塢莊恆興店一吊錢莊票一張，無日期但應為民
國時期。正面上方有“更換票版謹防假票”。背面為一處方，
