10 Yuan debt clearing certificate note issued by the Guangzhou branch
of Guangdong Bank in 1935, with a serial number of C045290. The two
signatures in the center are of the manager and vice manager. A red seal
and black ink writings are present near the left edge. A steel seal chop
is seen in the circle on the left side of the note. Printed by Shanghai
Printing Co. in Guangzhou. Descriptions on the back are regulations and
rules for issuing this certificate. XF grade.��������������������������������������Est.

Hebei Province, China. A private banknote issued by Gongyuansheng
Bank in Qianyi Jianchangying, Tangshan, Hebei province. Front depicts
mythological figures. Center text reads “To pay the bearer 5 strings of
copper cash coin”. No date or serial numbers. The back side shows “5
strings” in center, and “Beware of counterfeiting” around it.

遷邑建昌營公源盛銀號五吊錢莊票一張。正面四周印有神話人
物。中央有“憑貼取九六銅圓錢五吊正”。無年份與號碼。背
面中央為“五吊”，四周為“謹防假票”。
