China, A rare banknote issued by a provincial
Communist Government in the Chinese civil war era. The front has
“Five Fen (Cents)” in center and shows houses and trees on both sides.
Signatures are possibly of the bank managers. Bottom indicates “twenty
notes of this kind could be exchanged to a silver dollar”. Back shows
serial number of B034961, a seal of the bank branch, and the year of
1934. VF to Choice VF grade. 國
共內戰時期地方蘇區銀行所發行之輔
幣券伍分。正面中央為面額，兩側為房子與樹木圖。簽名或為
銀行經理。下方有“憑票廿張兌換銀幣壹元”。背面有序列號
B034961
，分行印章，及年號1934年。八五品。

A member card belonging to Wen Jinhe, 52,who joined the
association in 1933 as a worker, with a serial number of 23. The right
panel is the cover, showing a sicle, a hammer, a part of a gear, a gun
and a flag. Second panel from right shows basic information of the
member. Third and fourth panel from right shows goals and regulations
of the association. Left panel is for recording member fee payments.

國共內戰時期中華蘇區之群眾組織革命互濟會會員
證，所有人為溫今河，52歲，工人，入會日期為1933年,證件號
碼為23。最右側為封面，圖案為鐮刀、錘子、齒輪、步槍、紅
旗。右數第二聯為個人基本信息。右數第三、四聯為“本會宗
旨”。最左一聯為會費繳納情況。

war era. The front shows portrait of Lenin in center, and “One Yuan” on
sides. Signatures are possibly of the bank managers. Bottom indicates
“this note could be exchanged to a silver dollar”. Serial number is 422658.
Back shows bank name, denomination and the year of 1933. XF grade.
國共內戰時期蘇區中央銀行所發行之紙幣一元。正面中央為列
寧像，簽名或為銀行經理。下方有“憑票即付銀幣壹元”。序
列號為422658。背面顯示面值，銀行名及年號1933年。八品。

Signatures are possibly of the bank managers. Bottom indicates “Five
notes of this kind could be exchanged to a silver dollar”. Back shows a
globe and the Party emblem in the center, with Serial number 076745,
bank name, denomination and the year of 1932. XF grade with a small
chip out of the top middle margin.
