1013 ABNC Paul Revere Proof Vignette Portrait Duo.NewYork, NY, ND
(ca.1860-80’s), Lot of 2 images mounted on large manila envelope.
Includes 1.75 x 2 inch portrait of Revere with leaves surrounding
oval portrait with “No.45” listed on bottom and a 6 x 3.5 inch
square portrait taken from Gilbert Stuart’s painting of Revere with
his facsimile signature and text “ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF
THE BANKNOTE INDUSTRY” on the bottom, plate#X-2115 on top
border. Both in AU condition but there is a small 2 x 1.5 mm piece
missing from the right border of the large image. Rare ABNC

1014ABNC Proof Vignette sheet of 2 Blocks of 4 Different ModernPresidents.
NY. ND (ca.1970’s), Portraits of Eisenhower, Kennedy,
Johnson and Nixon in 2 blocks of 4 different portraits. The imprint
on the plate has printed in reverse “Longine Symphonette Society -
Presidential Vigs” and plate number. Evidently this was some sort of
gift or premium of Longines. Specimen overprints and ABN imprints
below portraits, printed on thin white card. AU to Uncirculated.

notes with different security elements added. All are 100
Denomination notes with oil platform on front and back with oil
wagon being pulled by horses, Includes security elements with
colorful and ornate designs, all with variations of vertical striped bars
on right with various security features on the counterfoil margins.
The notes were part of a project fromMobil Oil for testing petroleum
based hydrocarbon polymer paper for printing banknotes.
All are in Choice to Gem Uncirculated condition. Scarce and

1018Giori Test Note.ND (ca.1970’s). Uniface specimen of test note
with partial designs from U.S. $1 and $5 bills. Grass green face,
back blank. This note was from a test sheet printed to show the
capabilities of the Giori Printing Press. Partial engravings of “1”
counters on UL and UR, partial Lincoln Memorial in middle and
other elements from currency present. Back blank. Graded in a PMG
holder, “66 EPQ”,GemUncirculated. Scarce in high grade and always
