brown and tan underprint, Imperial Arms top middle, S/N 6452111,
Appears fine but there is a 1.5 inch split in the top middle vertical
fold, still very attractive other than a few minor edge faults; 1864, 1
Ruble, P-A33b, Issued banknote, S/N 13468559, appears in VG con-
dition but a 1inch by 3/4 inch triangular piece is missing from the
right margin, still a scarce note. ................................

Proof.
1894 (Imprinted in watermark). 100 Rubles, P-A53 Unlisted
Contemporary Uniface Specimen or Proof Counterfeit Banknote.
Face is black and brown on light yellow-tan underprint printed on
watermarked paper, back is blank. Large margins approximately 1
to 1.5 inches surround note. Crowned Imperial arms on left with
denomination on right with ornate borders and text. Note appears
Uncirculated except for minor folds or nicks on the outer excess bor-
der that could be removed to leave Uncirculated note. Watermark
seems a little primitive versus the relatively accurate engraving of
the face. Rare note in any condition or form and a valuable reference
item for specialized Russian collectors. No printer listed.

55 NET with evidence of previous mounting on back right margin,
but the note appears uncirculated to CU condition. Only one graded
in the PMG census and this is it..................................
