specimen banknote. Note is dated September 1, 1948 and has pink
and blue security dots in the paper. Red without underprint, Portrait
of Sukarno in middle and sword handle arms at left, back burgundy-
red with man plowing with oxen with mountains in background, Red
specimen overprint, POC and “00000” serial numbers. Small red printing
on upper right margin of face reads “ 11-9-48 FD”. Evidently Indonesia
did not accept this Security Banknote Company issue. POC. PMG
