on top and bottom, rare bond in any condition that rarely appears in

159 U.S.A. Adjusted Service Certificate, 1925, World War Adjusted Compensation Act Certificate.

Washington, D.C., 1927. Issued for

$1474 to U.S. WWI Army Veteran. 9.75 by 13.25 inches, printed on both

sides, black text and title on green border with red seal on bottom right

“Veterans Bureau” with eagle and flags, Certificate # 1534440. Back is

orange with eagle over title of bond in middle and the right side has

patriotic portrait of soldiers holding raised flag on hill. VF condition.

This certificate was commonly known as the “Bonus Act” and was

awarded to veterans who served in WWI between April 5, 1917 and July

1, 1919, with $1 awarded per each day served in the U.S. and $1.25 for

each day served abroad. Extremely rare bond with only 4 known to the

cataloger and 2 are in strong hands. No imprint - BEP. ��������������Est.
