United States. Vignette Book.

Includes 71 pages of portrait vignettes, and one of the White House at

the front and one of the U.S. Treasury building inside, making a total

of 72 pages. The portrait vignettes are india paper proofs mounted on

larger stock, each with tissue overlay. In pencil notation on each page

is the page number as well as notations on which bank notes the many

of the vignettes were used. Includes Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson,

Monroe, Jackson, Hayes, Windom, Fairchild, Mellon,6-1/4 x 7-1/2

inches. Gilt edges to pages. Front cover and spine missing, back cover

separated. Interior binding is nice and tight. Also included is a loose

portrait of Creswell, mounted on card.������������������������������������Est.
