215 Wuzhai County Bank Note, 1939 Private and Local Issue.Shansi
Province, China. 3 Jiao (30 cents), 1939, AU grade. Front figure is a
pavilion. Right seal is “seal of the Manager”. The left seal is probably
“seal of vice manager”. Text on bottom says “10 Jiao could be exchanged
into 1 yuan”. The two seals on the back are “Wushi County Bank” and
“3 Jiao (30 cents)”.

216 Yah Kong Native Bank, October 1921 “Shanghai” Local Issue Rarity From a New Find.Shanghai, China. 20 Coppers, P-UNL., Issued
banknote, Orange front and back, Face with house or temple in middle,
back with train over bridge, S/N 12522, English signature, Location of
business was at 5956 Kwangse Road. This note would have graded Very
Fine but a strong middle fold with a 1 inch split and small 4 mm tear
keeps it at Very Fine with small faults, still the paper is firm with bright
colors. Rare Shanghai local note. This is the last example of this rare

engraving, S/N 002914, English signature, Location of business was at
583, 6 Kwangse Road. Choice Fine to VF. Rare Shanghai local note. This
is the only example of this rare note from our consignor. ������Est.

China. 1929, 10 yuan, P-Unlisted, Issued banknote, XF grade.
Front depicts a bridge and a pavilion. The notice on back says “After due
date, could be exchanged into currency at the Shansi Bank in Kalgan and
could be used as legal tender.” The issuing date is 01/01/1930 and the
due date is 04/30/1931. Names and seals of the province government
chair and the chair of the Department of Finance appear on back.
