201 Bank of Fuling County, 1948 Temporary Gold Yuan Change NoteRarity.
Chongqing, Dec. 1948, Fuling County Gold Yuan Temporary
Change 10 cents banknote, P-Unlisted, with a serial number of 215357.
The left seal reads “Bank of Fuling County”, and the right seal reads
“Supervisor of Fuling Gold Yuan Change Notes”. At that time the gold
yuan was depreciating rapidly. This kind of notes had very small issuance
and barely no purchasing power, so very few have been passed on to
today. According to descriptions on back, only 10 cents and 20 cents
denominations were issued. Genuine XF and rare.
