Hawaiian Steamship Co. Steamer on face, ad on back for service
from New York to San Francisco and Honolulu; leaving from South
Brooklyn NY. The ship operated this route from 1902-1916. During
the war it changed toCanadian then back toUS ownership, renamed
the SS Alamance and in 1918 was torpedoed off the north-east
coast of Ireland. Measures almost 6 x 3-1/4 inches. Red SPECIMEN
