with steamship in middle and small dog on bottom. The certificate

has toning, but is intact and is very attractive and would grade VG+

to Fine. After the war, most Blockade runner companies took care of

their investors, however Consolidated president, Henry Hart, fled for

NewYork claiming he had no liability since the business was illegal

under United States law. Signed by Hart as president. Rare and noto-

rious Civil War Shipping “Blockade Runner” company.�����Est.

red underprint, with wagon passing steamboat on top and allegori-

cal figures on bottom left and right, Issued but not signed Freeman

Rawdon of Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson, very possibly as partial

payment for the printing of this certificate, appears in XF condition

but there is ink burn on the lower right signature. Attractive and

rare early Venezuela navigation stock for navigating the Orinco and
