Alabama. $1000. Specimen 1st Consolidated Mortgage 5% Gold

Bond. Green border and undertint. Locomotive under bridge with

locomotive going over bridge. Coupons attached. Fine condition

with light toning at horizontal folds. Red specimen overprint and

POC’s. ABNC. This is only the second example we have had offered

over the last 8 years and the previous certificate we had listed is the

Cox Plate note. Only known as Specimen. �������������������������Est.

pon Bond.

TheOld Mission Route”.The San Juan Pacific Railway was operative

May 4, 1907 and provided rail service from the San Juan Portland

Cement Plant to the Southern Pacific at Chittenden. The San Juan

Pacific Railway was operating a seven mile line, the Mission Route,

to San Juan Bautista. They planned on expanding their line to Sali-
