Mexico. 2 different specimen bonds. 1). Amis-
tadY Concordia. ND (ca.1891). 100 Pesos, orange border with “Du-
plicado” in red; 2). Santa Gertrudis Y Potosi. 1891. 100 Pesos. blue
border, VF. Both with Arms of Mexico in middle with mine on left
and town on right and small square for revenue stamp. There is a 2
inch tear on the right top horizontal fold of about 2 inches on the or-
ange bond, otherwise it looks in fine condition. The blue certificate

Uncancelled Bond.
Guadalajara, Mexico, May 14, 1825, £100, I/U,
Black on off white paper, Ornate border with classic lettering in
title, S/N 2483, 20 coupons originally on this rare bond with 2 re-
moved leaving 18 attached coupons on right border, back is blank,
Issued as a part of a “Loan of £600,000 Sterling, for the Service of
the Royal Manufacturies of Guadalajara and Ubrihuega - Divided
into 6000 Certificates or Special Bonds”, 15.5 inches x 18.75 inches,
VF condition,Written in Spanish and English, Printer: Paris, Imprim-
erie De Firmin Didot, Rue Jacob, No.24, Exceptionally early bond.
This is the earliest Mexican bond we have offered. Extremely rare
Mexico Fiscal document. The company which founded in 1824 by
the Marquis de Croy merchants (Knight of the Royal Order), Pe-
ter Adriel (Vice Consul and Knight of the Legion of Honour) and
Jean-Marie Laperriere. The company produced textiles. It had the
title “Real Compania” (Royal Company).The bond which was issued
in 1825 by the Bank of England, had a total volume of 600 thousand
pounds. The bond was issued in London and Paris. ��������� Est.
