1144 Unique Photograph Album Conveying the Experience of One
WorldWar II Veteran Stationed in the Philippines.
Over 300 pho-
tos, mostly black and white 4 inches by 5 inches, mostly original,
though some “stock” photos are included as well.The album begins
with about two dozen pictures of graphic female images painted
on bombers and fighter planes –“Pappy’s Passion,” “Daisy May,”
“Satan’s Baby” and others. Further subjects include artillery pieces,
bombers in action, soldiers parachuting, downed Japanese planes,
burned out hangars, native Philippine population, war damaged
buildings in Manila, large format aerial recon photos and much
more. The album is bound between wooden covers, and the front
cover, entitled “Philippines”, is hand carved. ��������������������� Est.

1145 Trio of Military Documents
Lot includes a Basic Mileage Ration,
used and in Fine condition; a Safe Conduct pass “to be honored
by all Vietnamese government agencies and Allied Forces”, mint
condition (2 pcs); and a second Safe Conduct reading “the Ger-
man solider who carries this safe-conduct is using it as a sign of his
genuine wish to give himself up,” VF condition. A very interesting

The Following Propaganda material has come from a
newly discovered archive ofWorldWar II Psychological
Warfare records from the Office ofWar Information Psy-
chological WarfareTeam, APO 465. These documents deal
predominatly with our Asian forces and includes a wide
variety of fliers and leaflets not seen before.

major bomber formation walking between globes, one side with

1943-45.
Burma, Thailand, Japan, ca. 1943-45. Historic folder from
the U.S. Office of War Information Psychological Warfare Team,
APO 465.This was a Restricted document that was used for internal
purposes as well as for high level politicians. It includes 7 original fli-
ers or propaganda leaflets stapled on the top left corner to the inte-
rior of the 4 page leaflet. It describes each flier by a number printed
on each one. They are written in Burmese, Thai and the surrender
leaflet in Japanese for the Japanese soldiers. Included are leaflets
with hand drawn illustrations of U.S. bombers; Roosevelt; Downed
American and allied fliers; American flag and portrait of Truman. All
are in XF condition almost as printed. Rare and historic U.S. World
War II Psychological warfare items. ����������������������������������� Est.
