Ohio. $1000 Specimen 6% 1st Mortgage Coupon Bond, Black print

on green border and under tint, Small image age of locomotive at top

and cattle at bottom, Specimen overprints and POC’s, Fine condition

with repairs and reinforcement on the top margin due to splits,

still very attractive, ABNC. One of 3 bonds found in the archives in

Ohio,

1881, $1000, 1st Mortgage 6 % Gold Coupon Bond Specimen, Black with

no underprint, Allegorical women shaking hands over patriotic shield

flanked by allegorical agricultural women on top left and right corners,

POC’s, VF condition. ABNC, This is the second bond of this type to be

offered by us and only one previous has been reported in Cox which

came from one of our sales in 2007 to 2009. 4 were discovered in the

Cleveland, Ohio, 1905, 1080 Shares, Issued and uncancelled but it is not

made out to anyone, S/N 13, Native American seated with ships behind

him, gold seal, No name is written into the owner area but everything

else is filled out including embossed corporate seal, the president’s

signature “C.W. French” and Secretary’s signature, VF condition, rare

and first time seen by cataloger, railroad unlisted in Cox. �����������Est.
