Texas. 1000 Shares Capitol Stock Issued

and Uncanceled Certificate. Black print with simple black border. Images

of Native Americans looking out over a locomotive moving through the

plains of the country. Blue revenue stamp at right side of certificate.

Fine-VF condition. Issued to and Signed by Thomas A Scott who was an

American business man and railroad executive. He was the 4th President

of the Pennsylvania Railroad, which was the largest publicly traded

company in the world. He was also appointed, by President Lincoln, as

the Assistant Secretary of War during the Civil War and helped play a

major role by using the railroads to help the North win. Scott purchased

these shares 9 years before his death is 1881. �������������������������������Est.
