embossed logo of the fair at top and request for attendance, along with
Pres. Roosevelt, at the opening ceremonies, Accompanied by the mailing
envelope addressed to a Dr. George McCreevy of NY City. Invitation
folded in half and with a tiny tone spot. Fine condition, Unusual and rare

Broker of securities owned by Meyer Lanksy. Meyer Lansky was a major
“mob” figure. Lansky developed a gambling empire that stretched across
the world. Although he was a member of the Jewish Mob, Lansky
undoubtedly had strong influence with the Italian Mafia and played a
large role in the consolidation of the criminal underworld. Lansky was
never found guilty of anything more serious than illegal gambling, He
has a legacy of being the most powerful gangster in American History.

Lake, Fine. Simon Lake (1866-1945). *Inventor; Submarine pioneer.
Beginning in the early 1890s, and continuing for over 40 years, Lake built
a succession of submarines through which he developed some portion
of the submarine technology in use today. He is generally credited
with developing the first workable periscope, and pioneering the use
of hydroplanes fore and aft to achieve submergence while maintaining

deed of trust naming properties in Vera Cruz and palaces on St. Thomas
and Turbaco in New Granada. Ornate building with garden and trees
on top middle under title, distinguished gentleman at left, green and
orange seals, Old tape mounting remnants on top and bottom middle
where previously mounted. Fine, edge tone. Attractive and rare bond
