sensational proof note with green protectors and counters. Only listed in

Haxby as a proof. The last we could find to sell publicly was an example

that brought $705 in an October 2015 public sale in a PCGS Currency

58 Apparent grade. Looks Uncirculated but their is a reinforced 3mm

internal tear on the lower right, stamp hinge remnant at back top right

and toning on the upper left and right back, POC’s. Extremely rare note

continuation of the series from the previous lot with this ornate Two

Dollar design showing Liberty at center and state die at left. Attractive

green tint and just a small notch in the margin at the top left. An example

sold in a 2015 public auction which brought $1,292 in a PCGS Currency

58 Apparent holder. This note appears Uncirculated with ample even

margins, sharp corners and bright colors, the only detracting fault is a

small 2mm by 1.5mm chip out of the top right margin. Rare note in any
