Orange, New Jersey. Uncut sheet of 2 notes, $1-$2; NJ-405-Unl1-Unl2,

Partially issued remainder, S/N 6685, Both printed in black without

under print, the $1 has train on left and angel and child at top middle;

the $2 has young woman at left and early locomotive at top middle. PMG

graded Very Fine 25. Rare note in any form and first time offered by us.

original Maverick copper printing plate ca. 2002 by Mike Bean. The note

Proof banknote, Banknote printed in black on india paper, Allegorical

blacksmith, partially nude woman and Mercury on top middle, small

building on bottom, AU condition with a 3/4ths inch repaired tear

parallel to the right margin that could easily be repaired and a 4mm tear

in the top middle margin, still rare in any condition. Rawdon, Wright &

unmounted, seated allegorical women on left and right counterfoils,

sailor with native Americans in center, POC’s, the note appears XF-AU

with the upper left and right corner tips missing and the 2 of the POC’s

on the bottom have been torn in the middle, still a scarce proof banknote
