to Choice VG condition with normal wear for issue, small chips out of

China, $5, P-26m S/M#C294-31m, Issued banknote, Black with Portrait

of Emperor Huang-ti at left gazebo at right, back brown with red 6

Chinese Character overprint under curved title at top and overprinted

in English in red MUKDEN and in the lower margin MANCHURIA.

Serial# P314191, PMG graded Choice Fine 15 NET, Attractive note

with tape remnants on the top margin, the small ovals on the right and

left front have ink abraded, but otherwise and extremely rare and very

presentable banknote. This is the only example ever graded in the PMG

quality with a little toning on the top left corner and minor graffiti marks

on back, S/N M021548, Rare note in any condition and rarely seen this

on m/c with “Temple of Heaven” in middle, back is Blue-black. S/N

007873. Fine to Choice Fine condition with great paper quality, minimal

margin issues and 2 very small pin holes in middle of note, otherwise

very attractive for grade. Rare and desirable note in any condition with

only one previous note having been graded in the PMG census and this
