Ecuador. Ser.B, P-S282a. Reclining female at center. Overprinted on

Ecuador P-S272 (Compania de Credito Agricola e Industrial), with

the 1926 overprint on back making this the first issue of the National

Bank. Nice ABNC printing. PMG graded Very Fine 25 NET with note

of rust spots on face. Extremely rare note in any form and only one

of 3 notes graded by PMG with this note tied with one other for finest

Monument at center. Uniface face proof on india paper mounted to card

stock. Also includes a five page progressive proof on planchet paper of

the face underprints as signal colors and in combination. Stapled at the

left end, pencil notation on each page. Finally a small internal ABNC

Major Tint Department receipt for this order, dated 1942. As Made, 3

combination. Stapled at the left end, pencil notation on each page. As

this form. Two face paste-ups, one of an unused proposed design and

the other of the used note, as well as a paste-up of the back. These three

are all on board wrapped in acetate. IN addition two black plate proofs

of the approved face and back designs with huge intaglio embossing.
