Scotland, 3rd July, 1928, 20 Pounds, P-S813a, Unlisted Specimen,

Face Blue with orange and red sunburst underprint, allegorical

women flanking arms on top, Equestrian Statues on LL and LR, back

blue, back with archival notations including approval signatures

and date, S/N A, POC’s, Choice XF to AU condition. Rare note in any

condition and very attractive. Catalogs $1575 in SCWPM as issued.

listed specimen banknote. Black on cream colored paper with arms

on top middle, Text in Afrikaans, back black with arms on left and

bank logo on right. Text in middle of face begins with “Betaalt Aan

Toonder te Betalen....”. Star cancel, No “00000” serial numbers. Ar-

chival notation on lower left border with S/N 3726, The Note is one

light corner fold away from Choice to Gem Uncirculated. Unpriced
