280 Wax Seals and Wax Impressions, ca. 1860-90’sBrass wax sealer,
rectangle, unengraved, 2 copper-nickel, one large initial on each,
one steel with arms, now rusty. Impressions in wax from engraved
intaglio seals. Very slight duplication. On cut cards of varying shapes
or on cards set into circular pill box halves. Only one is identified
as it is on the back of a calling card. 70 on cards, 31 in boxes; also
includes a frame design (broken) and now a Benjamin Franklin die

shank, part of which is finished and part of which is the remnants
of the casting sprew. Red seal wax in a few of the recessed details
