ing ships in background, small eagles on bottom, Washington coun-
terfoil on right, two cameo heads on left and numerical medallions
on note. Small numbers are on each design element, evidently as a
reference for a description or for identifying vignettes wanted on
banknotes, Printed by J.Clark and engraving by H.C. Foote. Choice
