Lot of 3 Specimen Stock Certificates: Includes: 100 Shares Common Stock with yellow border and underprint; 100 Shares Preferred Stock with a green border and underprint, both with photo vignettes of Locomotive #464 L-R at top middle; and Class B Warrants with blue border and underprint, no vignette. All three have Specimen overprints, POCs, are in Uncirculated condition, Hamilton BNC. The Akron, Canton & Youngstown Railroad Co. (AC&Y) was a regional railroad founded in 1907, serving Ohio’s industrial areas. It was established to transport goods like coal, steel, and rubber, especially supporting Akron’s booming rubber industry. The railroad expanded over time, connecting with larger networks like the Pennsylvania Railroad and the B&O. In 1964, AC&Y was absorbed by Norfolk & Western Railway as part of a larger consolidation in the railroad industry.
