Other locations includes Mannschaftslager – camps Darmstadt, Giessen, Gorlitz and Lazarett – camps Julich and Kreuznach (for patients). All camps run by Army Corps III used the same notes and had camp names stamped on back, Lot includes: 1 Mark with blue print, 2 Mark with brown print, 5 Mark with olive-green print, and 10 Mark with orange print. The camp was used for Naval and Merchant Marine personnel. Notes are in Uncirculated condition. (4). Lot of 10 Issued Notgeld used in Chemnitz POW Camp run by XIX Army Corps out of Leipzig, Lot includes: 1 Pfennig, 2 Pfennig, 5 Pfennig, 10 Pfennig, 20 Pfennig, 50 Pfennig, 1 Mark, 2 Mark, 5 Mark, and 10 Mark. The Germans built the camp shortly before the war and incarcerated Allied prisoners here in 1914. Notes are in Uncirculated to CU condition. (10).
