Progress proof, missing the intaglio image and the back attestation, but includes the Litho stamp border image for the $5, 1923 Series stamp; 2). Progress proof, missing the intaglio image and the back attestation, but includes the Litho stamp border and central design image for the $5, 1923 Series stamp with dark impression of the Liberty vignette in dark blue; and, 3). a complete uncut card progress proof, including the intaglio vignette of Liberty in light blue and the stamp on the left complete with a light central Liberty vignette. U.S. designed and produced advertising cards, signs, and vignettes offered by a German printing company, Joseph Heim, from Leipzig and Wien, as samples of American work. Evidently they represented the American companies in Europe as (American Mercantile Work), the card is 9.5 x 12 inches with card designs from Chicago and Milwaukee, WI. Designs include Kurtz Bros., restaurant ad, and other vignettes and ads. 6 different card and letterhead designs are included on the sheet. XF condition. Printed in black, red and light tan.
