The binding is tooled and missing a portion from the top part of the spine, the top corners have light water staining but luckily only on the text portion, all of the plates are in excellent condition with only very light evidence of stains and very light foxing. Lot of 8 items, consisting of 2 photographs of paintings of the final design of a standing modern allegorical woman with modern city behind her, one with and one without her holding the scales of justice and then and engraved Series of Progress Proof Vignettes and how the images evolved over 3 years for Justice Mortgage Investors. Each vignette has archival notes in margins and slight changes to the illustration, Vignettes are numbers from the first iteration to the final proof vignette used on stocks and bonds. All are printed on India paper and are mounted on cardstock and there are two photographs of the vignettes included as well. Items are Uncirculated to Gem Uncirculated condition. (8). A unique example of how vignettes are engraved and how they evolve over time.
