HM Tower of London, 1973 Yeomen Warders Medal, held in a protective green case with Royal Mint logo on interior; Hanging medal with French flag, torch, surrounded by laurels with 1917 date on back and possibly a name, likely an award for service during World War I; 1933 Medal from the Commune de Schaerbeek awarded to a Monsieur Defrenne, obverse with Schaerbeek Town Hall, reverse with inscription; 1950 Commemorative medal for the 250th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Life Guards and the Battle of Narva, obverse with profile of Peter the Great, reverse with text, Struck in Paris for Russian emigrees in exile; 1929 Estonian medal, likely commemorative, with “For that and Care” in Estonian on obverse, reverse features more Estonian text, buildings, and the date; and a Prague coin with coat of arms at bottom, city depicted at top, reverse is blank. Includes: Florida Scenery, ca. 1870s Card featuring images of Pensacola Harbor; French, WWI, 1916 Battle of Verdun Medal Pair, Leather Pouch & Certificate, Includes a pair of brass or copper Battle Verdun medals with almost exactly the same design, one small (2.5 x 2.5 cm) and one large (3.5 x 3.5 cm). Features a long- haired woman with sword in right hand on obverse, reverse shows an image of the city gates and the main entrance into the city of Verdun, with the date of 21 February 1916 in French. Large medal is the only “official” Verdun Medal, with “S.E. Vernier” designer and 1917 date on obverse. This was a non-wearable piece presented with a leather pouch and certificate, both included in the lot. This was the only official medal issued by the Golden Book Commission. The later, smaller, and wearable Vernier medal was intended to be suspended from a ribbon; Pair of medieval-appearing coins, one held in a protective case; 1840 Childeric II Cast Medal by Armand Auguste Caque; Umbeto I Medal, 1891 with coats of arms on obverse, reverse with text; and a Rooster necklace with “You & Me & W.D.” in text underneath. ������������������������������������������������������� Est. $200-400 Italy 479 479 Group of Over 7 Coins, Most from Comune di Modena Italy....
