In 1919, the British-based company GP acquired 10,000 acres of land and 50 miles of river bottom and flat for extracting gold and platinum. Stimson’s residence; homes with horse and buggy in front; and 2 images of downtown Aspen including man (miner?) sitting on a donkey with buildings behind him as well as an image of 3 early buildings with men walking. Historic early Aspen images. Evidently from a larger album that was taken apart years ago..
