NY or PA. Lot of 2 Large Die Proof Vignettes, both are intaglio printed on india paper and mounted on cardstock. One features a ‘3’ flanked by a pair of allegorical women, 9 x 6 inches, “V-45898” imprint. The second piece is almost exactly the same as the first, however is more stylized, ornate, and detailed, 9 x 6 inches, “V 39671” imprint. Used on obsolete banknotes, stocks, bonds, and checks. Both are VF condition and have notes at top left corners in pencil.
