Specimen $1000 4% Consolidated Trust Non-Cumulative Income B Coupon Bond, Native American Indian “Progress” vignette allegorical woman holding wheel with cornucopia at feet. Red specimen overprints, POC’s and “00000” serial numbers. VF condition. ABNC. This is the same Bond that we last offered in our February 2009 Auction and is the one that is the pictured bond in Cox. Lot of 2 Bonds, Both are Beech Creek Railroad-related Specimen Bonds: One is 1886 $1000 4% First Mortgage Coupon Bond for the Beech Creek Railroad Company in green with a small train vignette at top. The other is not dated, $10,000 Registered 4% Consolidated Mortgage Gold Bond for the Beech Creek Extension Railroad Company in navy blue with a train approaching station vignette at top and coal miners at work at the bottom. VF condition but a strip of 3.5 by .25 inches was removed by the production department for use or editing a new design. Listed railroad in Cox, previously unlisted for any bond issues, only one stock. Rare and very attractive bond. The other is a 1912, $1000 Series E 4% Guaranteed Gold Trust Certificate Coupon Bond with black text and blue border and underprint.
