This lot contains 4 pieces, all of which have red protectors with the denomination. There is one $1 note(Wait 516), one $2 note(Wait 519), and two $5 notes(both Wait 522). All four notes are R-2. The scrip piece(Wait 536) was issued by John E. Shaffer during the Civil War. The $1 note has a vignette showing a factory, a train, a river, and a bridge. The $2 note has a vignette of steamboats. Printed in green, with a modified NJ State Arms central vignette.������������������������������������������������������ Est. $55-110 Fislerville 461 461 Fislerville Glass Works. 1863. Trio of Obsolete Notes. Fislerville, NJ. Lot of 3 Notes, Includes 1 cent, 5 cents, & 50 cents , July 1, 1862, Jan. 15, 1863, Wait 576 & 577, R-7, R-4. VG-Unc-Unc, The Fislerville Glass Works Scrip(Wait 576) is printed in black(front only), with a central vignette of a fountain. The left end has ‘John M. Moore & Co.’. The right end has ‘Fislerville Glass Works’. This R-7 scrip note was issued, and has rust and corrosion that have caused numerous holes. The other two scrip notes are unissued remainders printed in green on the front and black on the back. Both have ‘Moore Brothers & Co.’ above the central vignette and ‘Fislerville Glass Works’ below the vignette. The 5c issue(Wait 577) has a NJ State Arms central vignette. The 50c issue(Wait 580) has a central vignette of cows grazing near a house. �������������� Est. $100-200
