Leather Bound with gold embossed cover and spine, gold gilt edges on each page, 6.5 x 9 inches, Includes 5 different ABN presentation plates and 34 Spanish, South and Central American related Large Die Proof vignettes printed on india paper on thin card. The front advertising plates includes Black on orange Advertising card with Washington portrait and Spanish text; Card with Grant, Lincoln and European Military dignitary; Standing Liberty with eagle, shield and flag used on Union Pacific Stocks and Bonds; an early version of the micro-engraved “Declaration of Independence” on white card originally engraved in the early 1840’s; and a card with Washington portrait cameo and Mount Vernon image, the Large Die Proofs images include “Chola & Child; Gaucho with Guitar; Saladera; Lassoing on the Pampa; Crossing the Pampas; S. American Ox Team; Montevideo; South American Ostrich Farming and many other vignettes used on South American Banknotes produced by ABNC. All of the front plates and Large Die Proof vignettes are in AU to Uncirculated condition with light foxing and toning spots and the appearance of very slight water wrinkling on the front two pages that do not affect the presentation plates or detract from the desirability or attractiveness of this rare presentation book.
