Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ND (ca.1820’s), Copper printing plate with ornate engraved text in various fonts on 5.25 by 7.5 inch copper plate. The text states “T. S. Williams, Copper Plate Printer, Opposite the Exchange, No. 86 South Third Street, Philadelphia”. Unique copper printing plate from a new estate find. The plate has areas of spotting and light corrosion in a couple of areas but is still a historic and early security printer item. The back has imprint “J. Hufty Engraver.
