A 1 Fen (cent) coupon issued by Jishi Candy Company in Shanghai. Date unknown but should be circa 1930- 1940. Top text reads “10 coupons could be exchanged into a 10 cents banknote”. Bottom are the company name and address: 385 Myburg Road. A purple seal is on the back side, which might belong to the manager. VF condition. Scarce private banknote pair. ����������� Est. $60-120 130 130 Quyang County Lingshan Town Shuangdeheng Bank, 1 Jiao. 曲 陽靈山雙德亨錢莊票一角 China, issued by Shuangdeheng Bank in Lingshan Town, Quyang County, Hebei Province. Date, seals and serial number are left blank. The center shows denomination One Jiao with images of crane, pine tree, deer and bamboo on both sides. Text on sides read “to maintain the finance and currency circulation”, and the bottom text reads “every 10 jiao could be exchanged to 1 silver dollar”. Back shows a castle gate, the denomination, “be careful of counterfeit” in Chinese, and “take care” in English.
