Each features engraved allegorical figures, rural school scenes, and the Pennsylvania coat of arms, with forms completed at Harrisburg and signed by state education officials. These mid-nineteenth-century warrants illustrate Pennsylvania’s early state-directed education funding program and show typical archival handling for the period. (5).
