Advertising Note printed in the form of a satirical banknote titled “The Gold Luck Bank of Alaska,” promising to pay “One Thousand Dollars per Day Gold Standard” in the “State of Excitement.” Note depicts humorous Klondike Gold Rush scenes with prospectors mining and chasing gold, along with a caricature of Uncle Sam promoting the Alaska rush, Reverse features an advertisement for P. J. Butten, Custom Tailor, Mystic, Connecticut, with a caricature of John D. Long, Secretary of the Navy, promoting suits, pants, and overcoats.
