Lot of 7 Issued Notgeld notes from the Inspection of Prisoner of War Camps of the XVIII Army Corps, Includes: 2 Mark (3); 10 Mark (2); 1 Mark; 5 Mark. Notes feature ornate designs with bold central denomination panels, decorative borders, printed signatures of camp officials, and individual serial numbers. Several examples display small punch holes at the top as issued for accounting or cancellation purposes. These notes were issued for controlled circulation within German POW camps, where special camp currency was used to regulate prisoner transactions.
