British Armed Forces Special Voucher, 6 Pence denomination, First Series, bearing the “NAAFI Canteens” overprint. Printed by Thomas De La Rue (TDLR). Front in brown-orange with ornate guilloches and large central “6d” value panel; reverse with matching color scheme and geometric background pattern. Issued by command of the Army Council for exclusive use in Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes (NAAFI) canteens across occupied zones following WWII. A popular postwar military issue and scarcer with the NAAFI over stamp. Another extremely rare B.A.F. “NAAFI Canteens” Scrip note with only 2 notes, this note and one other graded in the PMG census.
