Includes the official souvenir sheet with patriotic and Texan-themed engravings (Alamo, cowboy, and Bureau of Engraving & Printing’s Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth); a banquet program card dated April 26, 1997; a large engraved vignette of the “Spirit of ’76” patriotic drummers; a multi-image souvenir sheet with Texas star, Sam Houston, cattle drive, and oil derrick vignettes; and a commemorative sheet honoring U.S. veterans, illustrated with a sculpture of three soldiers. The certificate has text The Lord Commissioners of Her Majesty’s Treasury on behalf of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (H.M.G.), it also has a facsimile signature of the Secretary to Her Majesty’s Treasury on the lower right. This should be considered an official U.K. Government Bond, similar to a U.S. Treasurer’s bond (I would give $1000+ for a U.S. Government example). Rare with original artwork and unique as such.
