Includes over 65 unused railroad fare tickets from Essex Fells to Whippany, North Newark, New York, Morristown, Hanover, Montclair Heights, Monroe, Roseland, Beaufort, and other destinations, along with conductor’s cash fare tickets. Archival correspondence features a 1926 letter from Guerin & Williams General Insurance Contractors requesting a refund for a pair of tickets (with tickets enclosed); a March 10, 1910 American Banknote Co. letter to the Morristown & Erie Railroad thanking them for their order; a 1910 shipping memorandum; an August 1911 itemized ticket order; and a 1925 Morristown & Erie Railroad letter to Brown Printing & Binding Co. ordering fare tickets.
