1943. 100 Francs, P-105, Issued banknote, Blue on green and m/c,
Marianne at center, back anchor, bale, barrel. S/N PM 340,065. Note
appears XF with one vertical centerfold and slight toning on left edge
and upper and lower left corners, otherwise a very attractive note. The
note was issued in Corsica in WW II and evidently a soldier (possibly this
was part of a “Short Snorter”) notated on the bottom margin, “Bastia,
Corsica” where the note was found. Very attractive note in excellent
