titled: Color Chart for Steel Engraved Postage and Revenue Stamps.
A.B.N.Co. No 32. 4-7/8 square. Each page consists of eight stamp images
plus an ABNC eagle logo. The book contains 23 intaglio printed pages
each with an interleaf. Colors from light to dark in tone: oranges, reds,
blues, black. A seldom seen in-house salesman item. Slight handling
evident. Previous owners name stamped on flyleaf endpaper. Book
smells musty from long storage, mentioned for accuracy.�������Est.

683 AmericanBankNoteCo. Presentation folder with 5 portrait proofs used on Bank Notes.United States. A slot-lock binder from ABNC,
with 7 top and bottom loading protective pages. The five portraits proofs
on paper are not identified, but are for bank notes from Guatemala,
Namibia, Northern Ireland (2) and an elusive gentleman with a large
bow-tie. One of the proofs looks as if it was made by burnishing the
paper back on an inked plate, rather than being placed in a proofing
press. These are interesting, as these portraits are copies of TDLR or
other firm’s work and ABNC never received contracts for production of

“Colors for Steel Securities” and “Properly of American Bank Note Co.”
